To make your healthcare experience with us as easy as possible, we offer a special complimentary concierge service exclusively for our patients and their families. As you enter the lobby of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, the concierge greets you. Our specially trained concierge is available to help you become familiar with the Oklahoma Heart Hospital and can refer you and your family to local hotels, restaurants and other businesses nearby.
CPR for Family & Friends
Oklahoma Heart Hospital offers CPR classes for our patients' families and friends. Studies show that when CPR is delivered immediately after a heart attack, survival chances are greater. Learning the ABC's of CPR could help you save a life. Classes meet every Thursday from 9 to 11a.m. There is no charge and walk-ins are welcome. Family Friendly
We encourage family members to stay with patients overnight. Research shows that heart patients heal faster when loved ones are nearby and can be actively involved in their care and recovery. Every patient room is equipped with a chair which folds out into a bed, as well as a window seat, which doubles as an additional bed. Not only does a family presence improve a patient’s health, but it also serves to educate family member about how to care for their loved one under the supervision of our nursing staff.
Financial Services
Services are available to help manage financial needs, including pre-planning before you even arrive at the hospital.
Free Valet Parking
We offer free valet parking from 8 am to 6 pm daily. Our valets do not accept tips.
Heart Owners Manual
An award winning "Heart Owners Manual" is provided to all patients containing medication tracking forms, discharge information and a variety of other helpful materials.
Meal Selection
Room service meal selection is available to allow our patients to eat when they are hungry, rather than according to a pre-defined schedule. Patients select meals from a restaurant-style menu and choose what time they want to eat. A full-service cafeteria featuring a heart-healthy menu is available for visitors and family members. In addition, a family member is provided one meal each day.
Pagers
Upon arrival at Oklahoma Heart Hospital, families receive pagers similar to those used in restaurants. This service allows family members to be away from a patient's room to grab a bite to eat, visit the chapel and still know they can be reached immediately if needed.
Retail and Pharmacy
A variety of shopping options are available on the Mercry campus, where you can purchase reading materials, toiletries, medications or gifts. Oklahoma Heart Hospital logo wear is available in our cafeteria.
Therapy Dogs
A certified therapy dog visits Oklahoma Heart Hospital on a regular basis. Therapy dogs provide patients with compassion and unconditional love. This is done in a way that increases emotional well being, promotes healing and improves the quality of life for both patient and caregiver.
