OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma Heart Hospital Physicians (OHHP) today announced the appointment of Dr. Joseph A. Horstman to the OHHP office located at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Dr. Horstman joins the OHHP team as a cardiologist from the Texas Heart Institute/St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston.
Oklahoma Heart Hospital Physicians is the largest group of cardiovascular specialists in Oklahoma and one of the largest in the nation dedicated to diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart, pulmonary and vascular systems.
Dr. Horstman joins the OHHP from the Texas Heart Institute/St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital where he completed his fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease. He finalized his cardiology residency and internship at the University of Washington in Seattle. He began his medical career at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston after earning his degree in chemistry from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Horstman is board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
