Want to put your heart into a challenging and rewarding career?
Find out why it’s great to be part of the team at Oklahoma Heart!
It is our mission to provide excellence in quality and service.
We strive to attain the highest standards in everything we do. Our specialized, patient-focused setting is far from ordinary. Oklahoma Heart Hospital was the first all-digital hospital in the country, which means X-rays, lab results, vital signs and medications are right at the caregivers’ fingertips. Our unique, non-traditional hospital architecture provides a calming backdrop for our state of the art technology. Also, our unique nursing “pod” layout ensures a user-friendly, 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio which enables our clinical staff to provide better care to our patients.
As evidence of our commitment to sustaining excellence in both quality of care and employee and physician satisfaction, Oklahoma Heart Hospital has won the Press Ganey® Summit Award every year since 2006 and we’ve ranked in the 99th percentile since 2003. Press Ganey, Inc. is a nationally renowned organization that measures patient satisfaction through surveys sent to patients who have used Oklahoma Heart's services. The Summit Award is Press Ganey’s most prestigious designation and the most challenging to attain since it requires ranking in the 95th percentile or above for a minimum of three consecutive years.
We place the patient at the center of our decisions.
As an Oklahoma Heart Hospital employee, you will belong to a team of professionals devoted to providing high quality, compassionate patient care. We work together for the good of the patient first. Our reputation for providing high-quality care and superior service to patients and their families has led to opportunities for OHH to serve patients from every county in Oklahoma as well as patients from around the nation.
We respect our team members and value our team members’ differences.
Diversity and inclusion are essential ingredients in our pursuit for excellence. We strive for a workplace that is free of all forms of discrimination and encourage all our team members to reach their highest potential. Therefore, employment decisions at OHH are based on merit, qualifications and abilities without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national or ethnic origin, marital status, parental status, disability or veteran status. Once hired, team members of all backgrounds are provided accessibility to management due to OHH’s “flat” hierarchal structure. Team member contributions are actively sought by management. This affords improved communication and greater input into decision-making processes. OHH devotes substantial time and resources to team member orientation, training and education and provides the best tools and technology to foster success. Finally, in order to Serve the State and Lead the Nation, team members are given multiple opportunities for community outreach, so that they can genuinely enjoy working together for the good of our patients, their families and our community.
