Dr. Scott joined OHHP in 1992. He is on the clinical faculty at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Scott has done extensive research and has been published widely in the areas of myocardial ischemia and coronary artery disease. His research interests and publications also include the role of thrombosis and anticoagulation in relationship to cardiovascular disease.

Personal Description
Dr. Scott is from Duncan, OK and has been married to his wife Paula for over 30 years. He is a Colonel in the United States Army Reserve and has served tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa. Dr. Scott enjoys many outdoor activities including running, cycling and mountain climbing. He is a board member and secretary for the Oklahoma Cardiovascular Research Group.
